چکیده

Radical prostatectomy (RP) is the standard surgical treatment of organ-confined prostate cancer in patients with a life expectancy at least 10 years. In recent prospective study, we described PERUSIA (Posterior, Extraperitoneal, Robotic, Under Santorini, Intrafascial, Anterograde) technique, which an extraperitoneal full nerve sparing robotic RP, showing its feasibility and safety. The aim this retrospective study was to evaluate peri-operative, oncologic, functional outcomes technique. We retrospectively analyzed data 454 robotic-assisted radical prostatectomies (RARP) performed using technique from January 2012 October 2019. evaluated perioperative (operative time, estimated blood loss, catheterization complication rate, length stay), oncological (positive margins biochemical recurrence), terms urinary continence sexual potency. overall rate 16%, positive were 8.1%, recurrence occurred 8.6% median follow-up 47 months. Urinary achieved 69% cases day after removal catheter, 92% 3 months, 97% 12 months surgery. average potency 72% 82% respectively Our findings show that safe approach perform providing exciting outcomes.

Robotic radical prostatectomy: The new gold standard

OBJECTIVES Open radical prostatectomy (RP) has been the standard and primary treatment for focal prostate cancer. However, in recent years this view has changed, as robot-assisted laparoscopic RP has gained acceptance among urologists. In this review we evaluate the importance and place of robotics in laparoscopic urological surgery, discussing several techniques that are currently being used a...

CyberKnife Ablation of a Solitary Para-Aortic Lymph Node Metastasis After Robotic-Assisted Radical Prostatectomy

Introduction: Radical prostatectomy is an effective curative treatment option for organ-confined prostate cancer. There is a recent trend in offering curative treatment to patients with oligometastatic disease. More sensitive imaging modalities can identify oligometastatic disease that is not usually detected by conventional imaging techniques. Case presentation: We present a case in which a s...

Impact of prior abdominal surgery on the outcomes after robotic - assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy: single center experience

PURPOSE To evaluate the influence of prior abdominal surgery on the outcomes after robotic-assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy (RALP). MATERIALS AND METHODS We retrospectively analyzed patients with prostate cancer who underwent RALP between June 2012 and February 2015 at our institution. Patients with prior abdominal surgery were compared with those without prior surgery while consid...

Transvesical robotic radical prostatectomy.

OBJECTIVE To report the technical feasibility of performing transvesical robotic radical prostatectomy (TRRP) in a cadaver. MATERIALS AND METHODS TRRP was performed in two fresh male cadavers (prostate volume 46 and 30 mL). In the first procedure we used four laparoscopic transvesical trocars and in the second a single-port device was placed percutaneously into the bladder. Pneumovesicum was ...
